Job Summary The Avient Enterprise Delivery Manager IT Operations is part of a dynamic global IT organization that supports the company s mission and focus on innovation and sustainability, comprised of the 4 Ps - Product, Planet, People, Performance This Manager is responsible for leading a cross functional team focused on support and delivery in the IT Operations Space Team responsibilities will include Server management in hybrid environment, Compute Security, Collaboration and Messaging solutions, Network Management and Security This Manager collaborates with associates across all levels, geographies, and IT Teams to solve business challenges and achieve desired business outcomes This manager will have opportunity to bring new thinking to the organization, challenge the status quo, try out different approaches and make an impact not just on the immediate team, but IT and the organization overall Essential Functions Provide leadership in delivery and operations of Core Infrastructure Services in support of Avient s Infrastructure Strategy and Design. Serves as a key leader focused on supporting engagement, performance management and leadership of our India based IT resources. Partner with IT Leadership to deploy and upgrade technology, conduct active monitoring, and support Avient s Global Infrastructure. Ensure that the security, performance, reliability and efficiency of Avients global Infrastructure is maintained and continually improved. Proactively research and champion ways to improve IT processes and efficiency of the IT Operations solutions and delivery. Manage the teams responsiveness to support requests that come through the IT Service Desk to ensure that all service level agreements are met or exceeded Deliver performance feedback, coaching and mentoring with the goal of developing and supporting a high-performing, engaged team. Foster teamwork and collaboration at all levels, cross-functionally and cross-regionally Maintain relationships with all relevant IT vendors Participate in the IT strategic planning process and identify future changes in services and/or service needs. 24/7 availability, including use of a cell phone off hours support and weekend on-call status. Travel up to 10%. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience 3 - 5 years of leadership/management experience supporting IT Operations Delivery and Support initiatives, vendor management. Additional Qualifications Strong leadership and collaboration skills Proven experience in coaching and developing team members Strong process and internal customer focus Breadth of IT Technologies included Azure, Microsoft, LAN, WAN, SDWAN, VoIP, etc. Excellent oral and written communication and analytical skills required. Proven negotiating skills for contract and vendor management Proven infrastructure security experience and expertise Experience managing infrastructure project delivery
