Optiv is seeking an Enterprise Data Engineer to join the organization as a core team member of the Global Data and Digital Technologies team focusing on engineering and implementing our new data platform for Optiv. This person will focus on implementation of the architected Optiv Data Platform assisting with data engineering and machine learning algorithm. How you\'ll make an impact Support implementation in Microsoft Azure Databricks environment, and be an integral member of the development and implementation of the new platform. Actively participate in the gathering and documentation of requirements, and design for the ultimate solution of the Optiv Data Platform. Analyze and organize raw data in order to build data systems and pipelines. Conduct complex data analysis and report on results. Explore way to enhance data quality and reliability Collaborate with Analysts and Business SMEs to perform detailed requirement analysis for enhancing and creating new reporting and analytics solutions Lead technical efforts to implement and modernize technical solutions Mentor other data engineers on data engineering best practices and peer code reviews. What we\'re looking for Experience in Databricks platform technology, especially data lakes, data warehouse, data factory, and any Microsoft SQL. Proven expert knowledge of virtual application delivery technologies and virtual desktop infrastructures including knowledge of disaster recovery concepts. Minimum 5 years of experience developing source code preferably in C#, Python, Pyspark, and SQL. Experience as a build and deployment engineer using industry standard tools. Experience with deployment tools and virtual lab management. Understanding of industry standard system architecture and system management tools. Experience in the design, deployment, and support of large, complex systems. Experience in the analytics and/or machine learning a plus. Azure certifications will make candidates stand out.
