The Enterprise Automation team, part of Tech@Lilly focuses on building innovative, automated solutions that streamline business processes and accelerate Lilly's speed to market. We empower teams with scalable automation, drive enterprise-wide agility, and promote continuous innovation to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance data integrity.

Key Responsibilities:



Manage team(s) focused on delivering high quality project results within one or more major automation technology & tools, responsible for identifying project risks and develop mitigation strategies Manage a team - responsible for staff performance evaluations and management, training and development; and have authority to hire), demonstrated interpersonal skills, teamwork and people development, coach and develop team members through performance management, development planning, promotion and career plans; represent those team members in talent discussions Ensure delivery of business value, risk mitigation, cost optimization and return on investment. Provide technical leadership and coaching in the project delivery lifecycle. Focus on shared learning, continuous improvement and drive adoption of best practices Identifies synergies and reuse opportunities to improve efficiency Identifies and drives proof of concepts for emerging technologies at Lilly and helps team prepare for the adoption of these technologies and tools.

Required Experience:



A minimum of 15 years and a maximum of 18 years of overall IT experience must include the following: 3-5 years of experience leading and managing technology team(s), business professionals with stakeholder management responsibilities Should be able to lead a team of around 12-15 + people Strong background having breadth of experience and technical knowledge. Demonstrated expertise in developing and leading/managing teams to design & implement automation solutions leveraging tools/tech such as RPA, Business Process Automation using IBM BAW, custom application development using Node/React/Angular, workflow orchestration & task automation (but not limited to only RPA) Preferred to have experience / interest related to Pharma domain Proven experience with Software architecture frameworks, cloud platforms AWS/Azure and preferred experience in different web development frameworks and languages for custom development and tool automation, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment. Proven track record in capacity management and project estimation Experience in working in Scrum - agile methodologies, coding standards, programming, code reviews, source management (GitHub Actions), build & deployment processes and Jira.
