Job Summary: VMware India is looking for a full-stack Developer with a minimum of 4+ years of Java/J2EE development with innovative automation solutions in a distributed systems environment. Key Responsibilities: 1. An expert in building digital solutions and comfortable with all layers of the application stack. 2.Research new technologies and prototype new ideas. 3. Proven enterprise software developer who can work in fast paced, agile environment with minimal supervision. 4.Familiar with Agile methodology, test-driven development, source control management, automated testing and release management tools. Required/Desired Skills: 1. Experienced in using frameworks such as Java/J2ee, Spring, Spring Boot 2.Knowledge of object-oriented design and design patterns, and programming skills. 3. Proficient in automation tasks and scripting skills (shell, Perl, Python, etc.) and Ansible/Puppet or any other automation frameworks. 4.Solid foundation in Computer Science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms and software design. 5. Skilled problem solvers with the desire and proven ability to create innovative solutions. 6.Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in developing software applications using front end technologies like JavaScript, HTML, CSS. 7.JavaScript Frameworks such as React, Angular, etc. Hands-on experience in building and administering Containers using tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, etc Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (MIS, Computer Science) or comparable major.
