Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary English Teacher to join our vibrant team at Hariyana International Academy. The ideal candidate will inspire young learners (students of primary classes) to develop strong foundations in English language skills, including reading, writing, listening and speaking.

- Lesson Planning & Delivery: Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with the school's curriculum and educational standards.

- Language Skills Development: Foster reading, writing, vocabulary, grammar and communication skills in students.

- Assessment & Feedback: Assess student progress through tests, assignments and observations; provide constructive feedback to students and parents.

- Classroom Management: Create a positive, inclusive and disciplined learning environment.

- Communication: Effectively communicate with students, parents and colleagues regarding student progress and needs.

- Co-curricular Activities: Participate in organizing school events, literary activities and projects enhancing English language learning.

- Student Support: Identify students needing additional support and provide suitable interventions.

- Collaboration: Work with other teachers for integrated learning experiences and holistic student development.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Bachelor's degree in English (minimum)

- Teaching Certification: B.Ed mandatory

- Experience: Prior experience teaching English to primary-aged children advantageous.

- Language Proficiency: Strong command of English (spoken and written).

- Skills:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Creativity in lesson planning.

- Patience and empathy working with young learners.

- Proficiency in classroom management.

- Adaptability to diverse learning needs.

- Technological Skills: Comfortable using digital tools for teaching and communication.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
