Delhi World Public School, Kolkata, is seeking a dynamic and passionate English Teacher to join our dedicated faculty. Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that promote active learning and cater to the diverse needs of students. Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation, collaboration, and critical thinking. Teach English language skills including reading, writing, speaking, and listening, with a focus on building proficiency and confidence. Integrate technology and innovative teaching methodologies to enhance learning outcomes and student engagement. Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to students and parents. Develop and implement effective strategies to support students with varying learning styles and abilities, including those with special educational needs. Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary projects and initiatives that enrich the curriculum and promote holistic development. Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events as required. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and academic performance, ensuring compliance with school policies and procedures. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships and support the overall mission of the school.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in English Literature, Education, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Teaching certification or licensure from a recognized institution. Proven experience teaching English language and literature at the secondary level, preferably in a multicultural environment. Strong knowledge of curriculum standards and instructional best practices for English language arts. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve academic excellence and personal growth. Proficiency in using educational technology and digital resources to enhance teaching and learning. Commitment to continuous professional development and lifelong learning. Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to contribute to the broader school community. B.ED and CTET qualified teachers will be given preference.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
