Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and passionate

English Teacher

to teach students from

Classes 1 to 8

following

CBSE and HPBOSE

curriculum guidelines. The teacher will be responsible for developing students' reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills while fostering a strong foundation in grammar, literature, and communication.

Key Responsibilities

Teach English language and grammar as per

CBSE and HPBOSE syllabi

for Classes 1-8. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives. Develop students'

grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, writing, and speaking skills

. Conduct regular assessments, class tests, worksheets, and exams as per board guidelines. Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback to students and parents. Prepare students for

board-oriented assessments

, internal exams, and competitions. Use age-appropriate teaching methodologies, activities, and digital tools. Maintain discipline and create a positive, inclusive classroom environment. Participate in academic planning, staff meetings, and school activities. Maintain records of attendance, lesson plans, and student progress.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in

English / Education / Arts

(B.A. English preferred).

B.Ed.

(preferred for HPBOSE schools). Strong command of English language (written and spoken). Knowledge of

CBSE and HPBOSE curriculum frameworks
