Position Overview

Kids Club International School, Tiruppur, is looking for a dynamic and highly proficient

English Teacher

to handle Classes VI-X. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, strong subject knowledge, and experience with international-style teaching (activity-based, inquiry-based, project learning).

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Learning

Teach English Language and Literature for Classes VI-X as per the International curriculum (Cambridge/IB/Global learning standards). Prepare engaging lesson plans focused on reading, writing, speaking, listening, and critical thinking. Use interactive teaching methods: group work, presentations, discussions, role-play, creative writing, and project-based learning. Integrate digital tools and multimedia for enhanced learning.

Assessment & Evaluation

Design formative and summative assessments based on international standards. Evaluate assignments, projects, and written work regularly. Maintain academic records and track individual student progress. Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate with parents when needed.

Classroom Management

Maintain a positive, student-friendly, multicultural classroom environment. Encourage participation, creativity, and confidence-building. Support students who require additional academic help through remedial sessions.

Curriculum & Academic Development

Contribute to curriculum planning and enrichment activities. Prepare students for international-style assessments, presentations, and exhibitions. Promote reading habits through library activities and literacy programs.

Co-curricular Responsibilities

Organize and guide English-related events such as: Debates Elocution Drama and skits Poetry recitation Creative writing contests Participate in school programs, assemblies, and cultural events.

Professional Responsibilities

Attend staff meetings, workshops, training sessions, and professional development programs. Collaborate with other faculty members for academic planning. Follow school guidelines, safety rules, and international academic standards.

Qualifications & Skills

B.A / M.A in English

,

B.Ed

(preferred). Experience in international curriculum (Cambridge/IB/IGCSE/Global) is an advantage. Excellent command of spoken and written English. Strong classroom management abilities. Creative, energetic, and passionate about modern teaching methods.

Personal Qualities

Student-friendly and approachable. Excellent communication & interpersonal skills. Confidence in public speaking and presentation skills. Innovative and adaptable to global teaching standards.
