Job Description

Teach English language and literature to students in accordance with the CBSE syllabus. Plan and prepare lesson plans that align with CBSE guidelines and learning objectives. Use a variety of teaching methods and tools to engage students and accommodate different learning styles. Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills effectively. Assess and evaluate students' performance regularly through tests, assignments, and projects. Maintain accurate records of student's grades, and progress. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation. Encourage students' interest in literature, creative writing, and language skills. Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school activities, staff meetings, and professional development. Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and areas for improvement. Ensure adherence to school policies, CBSE regulations, and safety standards. Participation in school events and extracurricular activities may be required.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in English with B.Ed. Experience in teaching English in CBSE-affiliated schools is an advantage. Strong command of the English language in both written and spoken. Good classroom management and communication skills. Passion for teaching and student development. Well versed with CBSE curriculum, exam patterns, and assessment methods.
