Aarunya is a non-profit educational trust that educates primary school children by imparting a strong foundation of English speaking and reading skills, basic etiquette and life skills; thereby increasing their self-confidence and enabling them to access more opportunities.

Aarunya is seeking a skilled and creative teacher to take classes for our Communicative English Programme ( ACES:

Skills ) designed for ESL learners. The teacher is expected to work with young adults, teachers, and college students from diverse learning levels and cultural backgrounds.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct classes using the prescribed Aarunya content and focus on improving the student's English communication skills

- Encourage the students to participate in the class and constantly correct their pronunciation and enunciation

- Course correct the content as and when required

- Assess and keep track of the progress of students on a regular basis

- Collate the data collected to assess the efficacy of the program

- Help in pre and post assessment of students attending the program

- Should brief the team about progress of class, key takeaways and learnings

- Experience with technology and online tools to take online classes.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Power Point and Teams

Educational Qualification:

- Master's or Bachelor's Degree in preferably English, Education, Linguistics or a related field

Work Experience:

- Min 2 years' experience in teaching English to ESL learners or high school students

Timings:

- 8 hours a day from Monday to Friday. Weekends when required during training

- Flexible timings - depending on the batch of students.

- Classes could be either on line or on site.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
