Key Responsibilities

• Curriculum Design & Delivery

• Design and deliver engaging MYP English lessons aligned with IB standards (Grades 6-10).
• Promote language mastery, literary analysis, and critical thinking through inquiry-based learning.
• Instruction & Classroom Management

• Use varied and inclusive teaching strategies to address diverse learning styles.
• Create a positive, collaborative, and respectful classroom culture.
• Assessment

• Develop and implement formative and summative assessments that align with MYP objectives.
• Use assessment data to inform instruction and provide timely feedback to students.
• Student Support & Well-being

• Monitor student progress and provide academic and pastoral support.
• Engage with parents, counselors, and other stakeholders to promote student development.

Educational Background

• Master's degree in English, Education, or a related field.
• IB MYP training and certification preferred.

Professional Experience

• Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience, ideally in an IB or international setting.

Instructional Skills

• Strong knowledge of MYP framework, including Approaches to Learning (ATL), global contexts, and interdisciplinary planning.
