Job Description

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons in accordance with the curriculum. Teach reading comprehension, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and literature. Encourage the development of communication skills, critical thinking, and creativity. Prepare and administer regular assessments, assignments, and examinations. Evaluate and report on student performance, providing feedback for improvement. Maintain a well-managed and respectful classroom environment. Use innovative teaching methods, including digital tools and audio-visual aids. Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development activities. Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and conduct. Promote reading habits and a love for literature among students.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in English or a related field. B.Ed. or equivalent teaching certification (preferred or required depending on institution). Proven teaching experience, ideally in a school or academic institution. Excellent command of spoken and written English. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Familiarity with the use of technology in teaching and assessment. Passion for education and ability to inspire students.
