Job Description

Instruction and Curriculum:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective English language lessons, incorporating various teaching methodologies. Develop and implement differentiated lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs and abilities. Use a variety of teaching resources, including technology, to enhance student learning. Ensure that lessons align with curriculum standards and learning objectives. Maintain accurate attendance and grade records.

Assessment and Feedback:

Assess student progress through various methods, including formative and summative assessments. Provide constructive and timely feedback to students on their work. Identify areas where students need additional support and implement appropriate interventions.

Classroom Management and Environment:

Create a positive, inclusive, and respectful learning environment. Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a conducive learning environment. Collaborate with colleagues to address classroom management issues.

Communication and Collaboration:

Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and needs. Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and other professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate teaching and learning practices. Participate in professional development activities to stay current with best practices in English language teaching.

Other Responsibilities:

Participate in school events and activities. Follow school policies and procedures. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field. Teaching certification or license (as required by the region). Proven experience as an English teacher (preferred). Strong command of the English language. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans. Knowledge of current educational assessment tools and methods. Ability to motivate and engage students. Flexible and adaptable teaching style.
