Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced English faculty member to teach students from Class VI to XII. The ideal candidate should be well-versed with the CBSE, ICSE, and SSC syllabi, and capable of nurturing students' reading, writing, grammar, and literary analysis skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Delivery:

Plan and deliver engaging English lessons as per the curriculum standards (CBSE, ICSE, or SSC). Cover literature, grammar, writing skills, and comprehension topics tailored to the class level.

Classroom Management:

Maintain a conducive learning environment. Motivate and support students of varying abilities.

Assessment & Evaluation:

Prepare question papers, conduct assessments, and evaluate answer sheets. Maintain accurate records of students' progress and provide feedback.

Student Engagement:

Conduct debates, elocutions, creative writing, and literary activities. Guide students for board examinations, Olympiads, or literary competitions.

Parent Communication:

Participate in PTMs and maintain open communication with parents regarding academic progress.

Continuous Development:

Stay updated with the latest trends in English teaching and board requirements. Attend professional development workshops and training sessions.

Requirements:

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's / Master's degree in English or related field. B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.

Experience:

Minimum 2-5 years of teaching experience, preferably with exposure to CBSE, ICSE, or SSC boards.

Skills:

Strong command of English language and literature. Excellent communication and classroom management skills. Technologically proficient (experience with smart boards, online teaching tools is a plus).
