Teach English language and literature to students in

Grades 6-8

following the Middle grades

Secondary English curriculum

. Plan and deliver creative, student-centered lessons that support

language development, reading comprehension, writing, speaking, and listening

skills. Design and assess classwork, homework, and projects aligned with

Cambridge Progression Tests

and school benchmarks. Use a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. Foster critical thinking, communication, and collaborative learning. Encourage reading for pleasure and academic growth through engaging literary selections. Provide timely feedback and maintain clear records of student achievement. Participate in collaborative curriculum planning, departmental meetings, and school events.
