Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons to primary school students. Teach grammar, reading, writing, vocabulary, and spoken English skills using age-appropriate methods. Develop lesson plans in accordance with curriculum standards CBSE. Conduct assessments, grade students' work, and provide regular feedback to students and parents. Maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and learning. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, student progress tracking, and school events. Participate in parent-teacher meetings, workshops, and school development programs. Encourage reading habits through storytelling sessions, reading corners, and creative writing exercises.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Excellent command of spoken and written English Creative, child-friendly teaching methods Strong classroom management and communication skills Patience, empathy, and passion for teaching Ability to integrate technology into teaching (smart boards, digital content, etc.)

Educational Qualifications:

Graduation in English or any relevant discipline (BA/B.Sc) B.Ed. or M.Ed. (Mandatory as per NEP/CBSE norms) CTET/State TET Qualified (preferred)
