English Teacher for Grades 6 and 7
under the CBSE curriculum. The role involves strengthening students' language proficiency while gradually introducing analytical reading, structured writing, and confident communication skills appropriate for the middle school level.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver English lessons in alignment with CBSE curriculum standards for Grades 6 and 7.
Strengthen grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing skills, and literary appreciation.
Encourage critical thinking, discussions, presentations, and creative expression in the classroom.
Design and conduct assessments to track academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain academic records, assessment data, and student documentation.
Foster a disciplined, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
Work collaboratively with subject teachers on interdisciplinary activities and projects.
Communicate effectively with parents during PTMs and as required.
Participate in school initiatives, competitions, and literary or cultural events.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a relevant field;
B.Ed is mandatory
.
Prior experience teaching English at the middle school level (Grades 6-7) under CBSE preferred.
Excellent command over spoken and written English.
Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.
Exposure to experiential or student-centric learning methods is an advantage.
Immediate joiners preferred.
