Job Summary:

The English Teacher is responsible for teaching English language and literature, and for developing students' reading, writing, speaking, listening, and comprehension skills in line with the prescribed curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach English grammar, vocabulary, literature, and comprehension Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching aids Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills Conduct classwork, homework, tests, and examinations Evaluate and maintain student performance and progress records Improve students' pronunciation, fluency, and writing skills Encourage creative writing, debates, and language activities Provide remedial support to slow learners Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment Communicate with parents regarding academic progress Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and school activities Follow school policies, rules, and academic calendar

Required Qualifications:

Graduation/Post Graduation in English B.Ed or equivalent teaching qualification (as per school norms)

Skills & Competencies:

Excellent command over English language Strong communication and classroom management skills Ability to make language learning engaging and interactive Creativity, patience, and student-centered approach Basic computer and digital teaching skills

As per school norms and experience

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
