Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified and passionate

PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) English Teacher

to join our institution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality English education to senior secondary students (classes 10-12), fostering critical thinking, and preparing students for academic and professional success.

Key Responsibilities

Curriculum Development & Instruction

: Design and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the national curriculum, integrating advanced topics in English literature, grammar, composition, and language skills. Use diverse teaching methods (e.g., interactive discussions, multimedia tools) to cater to varied learning styles.

Student Assessment & Feedback

: Evaluate student performance through tests, essays, presentations, and projects. Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate progress to parents/guardians.

Classroom Management

: Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment. Address individual student needs, including academic support for underperformers.

Collaboration & Professional Development

: Work with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary programs and teaching strategies. Stay updated on educational trends, technology, and pedagogical best practices.

Examination Preparation

: Prepare students for board exams and competitive assessments through targeted instruction and practice.

Educational Background

: Master's degree in English Literature, English Language, or a related field (minimum 50% marks). Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from a recognized institution (mandatory in most states).

Experience

: 3-5 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level (preferred). Freshers with exceptional academic records may apply for select roles.

Certifications

: Teaching certification (PGT/TGT) or state-specific eligibility (e.g., CTET/State TET for government schools).

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
