Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver effective English lessons as per curriculum standards. Teach grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, creative writing, and spoken English. Design and implement assessments to evaluate student progress. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and interaction. Integrate technology, multimedia, and modern teaching strategies in classroom instruction. Provide constructive feedback and maintain student records and progress reports. Encourage reading habits and literary appreciation through activities, clubs, or competitions. Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff for curriculum development and school events. Attend parent-teacher meetings, school training sessions, and professional development workshops. Maintain classroom discipline and ensure student safety and well-being.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's / Master's Degree in English Literature or Education (B.Ed. preferred). Prior teaching experience in English (minimum 2 years preferred). Excellent command over written and spoken English. Familiarity with [CBSE / ICSE / IB / State Board] curriculum. Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills. Tech-savvy with experience in digital teaching platforms and tools.
