Role: English Teacher

As an English Teacher in a CBSE-affiliated school, you will play a key role in nurturing students' language proficiency, critical thinking, and appreciation for literature. You will contribute to a stimulating academic environment through innovative teaching practices, collaboration with colleagues, and active engagement with students and parents.

Roles and Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum and learning outcomes. Foster interactive classroom discussions to develop students' reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. Assess student performance through formative and summative evaluations and provide constructive feedback. Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance student engagement and learning. Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and curriculum planning. Organize and participate in co-curricular and extracurricular activities that promote language and cultural awareness. Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment. Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and development. Participate in staff meetings, school events, and professional development programs. Stay updated with CBSE guidelines, assessment patterns, and best teaching practices.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Valid teaching certification recognized by CBSE. Experience teaching English at the secondary level in a CBSE school preferred. Strong knowledge of CBSE curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment methods. Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in educational technology and digital learning tools. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Commitment to continuous professional growth and educational excellence. Passion for English language and literature with the ability to inspire students.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
