Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate English Teacher to join our team and inspire students in the field of English language and literature. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education and be dedicated to fostering a love for the English language.

Duties

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that adhere to the curriculum Provide instruction on various aspects of English language and literature Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback Utilize different teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience Stay updated on educational best practices and incorporate them into teaching strategies

Requirements

Experience in higher education teaching or related field Proficiency in academic advising and student support Knowledge of Montessori or special education principles is advantageous Strong classroom management skills Ability to conduct research and stay informed about current trends in education Familiarity with journalism principles and the Chicago Manual Style Proficient in lesson planning and curriculum development Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues
