Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lesson plans for English language and literature.

• Assess student performance through regular quizzes, assignments, projects, and exams; provide timely and constructive feedback.

• Create a positive, inclusive, and interactive classroom environment that encourages participation and critical thinking.

• Integrate technology and multimedia tools to enhance learning and support diverse learning styles.

• Collaborate with fellow educators and department heads to align teaching strategies and share best practices.

• Support students with individual learning needs through differentiated instruction and intervention strategies.

• Participate in professional development workshops, school events, and parent-teacher interactions.

• Monitor and report student progress using school-specific evaluation systems and reporting tools.

Requirements
Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

• Valid teaching certification or license (e.g., B.Ed., CTET, or equivalent).

• 2-5 years of proven experience in teaching English at the secondary or high school level.

• Strong command of the English language, including grammar, vocabulary, and literary analysis.

• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver effective lesson plans aligned with national or institutional curricula.

• Proficiency in using digital learning platforms (e.g., Google Classroom, LMS, interactive whiteboards).

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.

• Commitment to student-centered learning and continuous professional growth.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to evolving educational standards.
