Key Responsibilities Instructional Duties Teach English (prose, poetry, grammar, composition) to Grades 6-10.
Prepare structured lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
Use diverse pedagogy--discussions, group activities, digital tools, role play, reading circles.
Design and deliver remedial/enrichment sessions.
Assessment & Evaluation Create question papers, worksheets, projects, and assignments.
Conduct timely assessments and update student performance records.
Share feedback with students and parents.
Classroom & Student Management Ensure classroom discipline and maintain a positive learning environment.
Support students at different learning levels and track progress.
Administrative & School Responsibilities Attend staff meetings, trainings, PTMs, and school events.
Perform exam-related duties such as invigilation.
Support the English department in planning events like Literary Week, Debate Competitions, Book Fairs, etc.
