Job Title:

English Teacher - Primary Level

Reports To: Principal

Job Summary:

The English Primary Teacher is responsible for developing students' reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. The teacher creates engaging lessons that build strong language foundations while fostering confidence, creativity, and a love for learning.

Key Responsibilities:Teaching & Learning

Teach English to primary-grade students according to the curriculum Develop lesson plans that support literacy and language development Improve students' phonics, vocabulary, grammar, comprehension, and writing skills Use age-appropriate, interactive teaching methods
Classroom Management

Maintain a positive, safe, and disciplined classroom environment Encourage student participation and collaboration Support diverse learning needs and abilities
Assessment & Evaluation

Assess student progress through classwork, tests, and assignments Provide regular feedback to support improvement Maintain accurate academic records
Communication & Collaboration

Communicate with parents regarding student progress and concerns Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school activities Collaborate with other teachers and staff
Professional Responsibilities

Follow school policies and academic standards Attend staff meetings, training, and professional development sessions Contribute to school programs and events
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or related field Teaching certification (as required) Experience teaching primary-level students preferred Strong command of the English language

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,114.04 - ₹35,775.51 per month
