Its an ideal base for exploring North India and experiencing both modern Indian life and historic charm.Role Overview:Sancta Maria International School is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced English Middle School Teacher to deliver engaging instruction to students in Grades 6 - 8. The ideal candidate will be passionate about language education and committed to helping students develop strong communication, analytical, and creative thinking skills.Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons in alignment with the Cambridge curriculum and schools teaching philosophy.
• Design and implement assessments that evaluate reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills, and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Foster a love for literature and language through creative instructional strategies and the use of diverse texts and multimedia resources.
• Support students literacy development through differentiated instruction that meets a range of learning styles and abilities.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes inquiry, respect, and academic curiosity.
• Monitor and report on student progress, maintaining effective communication with parents and colleagues.
• Contribute to departmental planning and engage in collaborative teaching initiatives and interdisciplinary projects.
• Participate in school events, co-curricular activities, and, where relevant, the life of the boarding school community.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated with best practices in middle school English instruction and international curricula.

Candidate Profile:

• Masters Degree in English (M.A. English) required
• 2 - 3 years of relevant teaching experience, ideally in a Cambridge or IB setting
• Excellent communication skills in English
• A teaching qualification
