- Assistant/Associate Professor in EnglishPosition Overview

We are seeking a highly qualified and passionate Assistant/Associate Professor in English to join our academic faculty. The candidate will be responsible for teaching English language and literature, guiding student learning, contributing to research, and supporting overall departmental development.

Key Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate courses in English language, literature, communication, and related subjects. Design lesson plans, study materials, assessments, and learning activities. Guide students in academic projects, seminars, presentations, and assignments. Participate in curriculum development and academic improvement initiatives. Publish research papers and participate in conferences and academic discussions. Conduct assessments, maintain academic records, and track student progress. Organize departmental activities, workshops, literary events, and student engagements. Contribute to institution-level committees and academic planning.
Required Qualifications

Master's Degree in English (Ph.D. preferred or as per UGC norms). Minimum 2-5 years of teaching experience in a recognized institution. Strong command of English literature, grammar, linguistics, and communication. Excellent teaching, communication, and classroom management skills. Research orientation with publications in relevant academic areas.
Preferred Skills

Experience with interactive and student?centric teaching methodologies. Proficiency in digital teaching tools, LMS platforms, and e?learning methods. Creative thinking, strong mentorship skills, and academic leadership. Ability to contribute to literary clubs, debates, language labs, and events.
