We are looking to hire an
English Facilitator
for our schools in Salem, Tamil Nadu. This is a critical role and we encourage only serious candidates to apply.
Key responsibilities:
Conduct English language classes for students in primary and upper primary classes in customer schools, with the help of our voice technology platform, Tara.
Implement activities to motivate and encourage students to participate in Tara class
Assess and evaluate progress in learning among students across all grades
Build an excellent rapport with school leadership in assigned schools
Attend training sessions with our academic trainer as per the training schedule, either at the head office in Bangalore or in Salem
II. Other responsibilities:
Provide programmatic and administrative support to the Project Manager
Assist in critical data collection and ensure that data is being recorded as prescribed by the data team
Obtain customer feedback at different intervals in the academic year
II. Qualifications / Work experience:
Any Bachelors' Degree.
Interest in teaching young students in government / government aided schools. Willingness to work in a school environment
2-3 years of experience teaching English as a subject in a school setting will be preferred, but is not mandatory.
Experience in programme coordination and/or administrative work will be an advantage.
Good working knowledge of MS Office and Google Apps(Google Sheets/ Google Doc/Google Slides)
III. Additional requirements for the role:
Communication skills in English. Ability to speak in Tamil

Eagerness to learn and work in a diverse team.
Planning and organisational skills
Ability to travel to schools-either by a two wheeler with a valid licence OR by bus.
IV. Remuneration:
Fixed,session-based i.e. it will be based on the number of sessions that the candidate is able to undertake. Travel expenses will be reimbursed as per company policy.
