Role Purpose
To lead the English department in achieving academic excellence by ensuring high teaching standards, strong student outcomes, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement curriculum plans and yearly academic roadmap
Mentor, guide, and evaluate English teachers
Ensure consistency in lesson planning, assessment, and delivery
Introduce innovative programs in phonics, reading, creative writing, and spoken English
Monitor student performance and drive improvement strategies
Organize literary activities: debates, elocution, spelling bees, storytelling, and competitions
Coordinate with school leadership and parents on academic matters
Support recruitment, training, and onboarding of English faculty
