We are seeking a creative and passionate individual to join as an English facilitator. The desired candidate should be preferably a Post Graduate in English Language, hardworking and enthusiastic with minimum 5 years of experience. He/She should also possess enormous interest, understanding and passion about the subject. Excellent written, communicative skills are a prerequisite.
The position will involve teaching students of middle school (Grade 3 - 7). The applicant should be a motivated and result oriented individual who can promote effective communication in the learners, individually and collectively. The candidate should be a motivated and result oriented individual with a keen interest in guiding and improving children's writing skill and also provide effective feedback regarding their writing, presentation and speaking skills.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate learning methods, virtual & blended; assist children in an age group of 8-17, to write creatively incorporating their individualistic views, giving proper feedback on their communication (oral and written),
Plan, guide and introduce a variety of presentation methods and applications .
Review and coordinate all the English literature projects and take students for extensive field trips, etc.
To encourage all students to be actively engaged in their own learning and review their progress on a weekly basis.
Write blogs, articles about the projects, children's work and guide them in their public speaking skills.
To keep records of learner's progress in line with our curriculum framework.
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
1. Master's degree in English Literature, Journalism or related field, a teaching certificate or credentials.
2. Knowledge of the English Language and Literature Course according to the IGCSE Curriculum will be an added advantage.
3. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with team members.
4. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
5. Active participation in Public Speaking Forums will be an added advantage.
