Position: New Product Development (Engineering)

Location: Ludhiana

Vacancy: 1

Remuneration: ₹25,000 - ?35,000 Gross per month

Qualification: Diploma / B. Tech. / ITI

Experience: 3-5 years & above

Reporting To: Engineer / Sr. Engineer

Key Responsibilities

1. New Product Development

Study and analyze new component drawings.

Discuss feasibility points with concerned teams.

Generate tool requirements for new product development.

Coordinate with suppliers for special tool manufacturing.

Monitor new tool performance and implement improvements after detailed study.

2. Process Engineering Activities

Identify projects for improvement in cycle time.

Implement improvement projects on the shop floor.

Conduct studies and collect data related to cycle time.

3. Cutting Tool Trials

Prepare documentation for trial initiation.

Monitor tool trials and collect data.

Finalize trials and conduct pilot lot trials.

Implement approved trials in ERP systems.

4. Vendor Development

Visit new suppliers for initial audits with the purchase team.

Follow up with suppliers for samples.

Discuss reports and feedback with suppliers.

Coordinate with suppliers until production starts.
