Engineer / Sr. Engineer (Engineering Department)

Location: Ludhiana

Salary: Gross ?25,000 - ?35,000 per month

Qualification: Diploma / B. Tech. / ITI

Experience: 3-5 years & above

Reporting to: HOD

Key Responsibilities

1. New Product Development

Study new component drawings

Discuss feasibility points

Generate tool requirements

Coordinate with suppliers for special tool manufacturing

Monitor new tool performance and implement improvements

2. Process Engineering Activity

Identify projects for cycle time improvement

Discuss and implement concepts with senior, design, and tool room departments

Execute projects on the shop floor

Collect and study data related to cycle time

3. Trial of Cutting Tools

Prepare documentation for trial initiation

Monitor trials and collect data

Finalize trials and conduct pilot lot trials

Implement trial results in ERP

4. Vendor Development

Visit new suppliers for initial audits with the purchase team

Follow up for samples

Discuss findings with suppliers

Ensure follow-up till production starts
