Job Description

Role Purpose

Lead and manage a team of engineers designing

low-voltage electrical and electromechanical products

such as

relays, connectors, switchgear, and controlgear

for

safety-critical applications

Key Responsibilities

Lead

requirements analysis and concept design

for low-voltage electrical products Drive

detailed design

including DFMEA, calculations, material selection, and manufacturability Review and approve

designs, specifications, and technical documentation

Lead

validation, testing, and compliance

activities Ensure designs meet

quality, cost, and schedule

targets Provide

technical guidance and mentoring

to the engineering team Coordinate with

global engineering, program, and manufacturing teams

Communicate project status and technical decisions to stakeholders

Qualifications & Experience

Degree in

Electrical / Electronics / Electromechanical / Mechanical Engineering

10+ years

of experience in

low-voltage electrical products

, preferably

relays, connectors, or controlgear

Strong understanding of

safety-critical and high-reliability designs

Key Skills

New product development for

low-voltage systems

RAMS, DFMEA, PFMEA, MTBF

CAD tools (

SolidWorks / Inventor

) and

PLM (Teamcenter)

Knowledge of

materials, magnetics, injection-molded parts, and automated manufacturing

Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills * Willingness to travel occasionally (India & abroad)
