To effectively manage daily production operations, ensuring machines are properly maintained, safety and 5S standards are upheld, and production targets are achieved. The role requires maintaining accurate documentation, exercising sound judgment, and efficiently handling multiple tasks and delegations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Production & Operations
Meet production targets as per schedule.
Operate and monitor assigned machines (Tabber & Stringer, Auto Bussing, Laminator, Auto Framing, or Sun Simulator).
Ensure proper maintenance and cleaning of machines to prevent downtime.
Conduct daily machine parameter checks (air pressure, oil level, water level, etc.).
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions (WI) at all times.
Ensure correct process recipes and parameters are used.
Record and maintain hourly production data and machine check sheets.
2. Quality & Process Control
Identify and address common process issues (e.g., cell cracks, soldering defects, frame gaps, delamination, etc.).
Report abnormalities or critical issues immediately to Shift In-charge and Section Lead.
Ensure all quality and specification requirements of modules are met.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
3. Safety & 5S Maintenance
Strictly follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
Maintain 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) in the work area.
Promote a culture of safety and cleanliness within the team.
4. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate and updated records in logbooks and check sheets.
Ensure proper shift handover/takeover, communicating all issues regarding man, machine, and material.
Participate in Sunrise and Sunset meetings to review targets and discuss issues.
5. Training & Team Development
Provide induction and on-the-job training to new associates.
Educate team members on AVAADA production requirements and safety protocols.
Support in upskilling associates on machine operation and troubleshooting.

Qualification & Experience:
Education:
Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline)
Experience:
2-4 years in solar module manufacturing or similar automated production setup
Knowledge & Skills:
Basic knowledge of MS Word & Excel.
Strong understanding of machine operations, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of solar module manufacturing processes.
Ability to work in shifts and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Good communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Work Schedule:
Shift-based operation (Morning / Evening / Night)
Expected to arrive 15 minutes before shift start for handover and planning meetings.
