FUNCTION:

Engineering / Maintenance

ROLE:

Engineering Store Executive

QUALIFICATION:



Diploma / ITI / Graduate in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related discipline.

EXPERIENCE:



1. 3-5 years of experience in Engineering/Maintenance Storekeeping

2. Knowledge of spare parts, tools, and consumables handling.

3. Accuracy of stock records vs. physical stock.

4. Material availability and lead time compliance.

5. Reduction in stock-out incidents.

6. Timely reporting and documentation accuracy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:



A) Material Management



1. Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming engineering spares, consumables, and tools.

2. Ensure proper labeling, storage, and preservation of materials.

3. Maintain minimum stock levels and reorder as required.

4. Issue materials against approved requisitions/work orders.

B) Inventory Control



1. Maintain accurate stock registers (manual & ERP/software).

2. Conduct periodic stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.

3. Monitor consumption patterns and optimize inventory levels.

4. Ensure FIFO/FEFO system for spare parts usage.

C) Documentation & Compliance



1. Maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Note), issue slips, and return notes.

2. Coordinate with purchase and accounts for timely bill processing.

3. Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements.

D) Coordination & Support



1. Liaise with maintenance, production, and purchase departments for material requirements.

2. Support preventive and breakdown maintenance by timely issuance of spares.

3. Maintain records of critical spares and lead times.

E) Housekeeping & Safety



1. Maintain proper housekeeping in the store.

2. Follow safety standards for handling, storage, and disposal of materials.

Key Skills & Competencies:



1. Knowledge of engineering spares (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, utilities, etc.)

2. Familiarity with ERP/Store management software (SAP / Oracle / Tally / MS Dynamics / etc.)

3. Strong record-keeping and documentation skills

4. Good communication and coordination ability

5. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
