Responsibilities: 1. Electrical Systems Expertise on DC system:
Design and develop solar PV systems including Array layout, electrical schematics (DC Side), layout drawings, and system simulations.
Proficiency in Layout development of Single Axis Tracker & Fixed Tilt Tracker.
DC side engineering comprising of Module allocation, String development & DC cable scheduling up to inverter level.
DC cable layout engineering comprising of selection of cables.
Solar field earthing & lightning protection.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to ensure alignment with project specifications and best practices.
Ensure that the drawings are in line with technical specification and statutory requirements.
Possess a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and industry standards.
Have a proven track record in handling complex electrical systems in thermal power plants.
Be proficient in electrical design and analysis tools.
2. Other AC Package Oversight:
Conduct detailed reviews and oversee electrical systems for Balance of Plant (BOP) packages, including Switchyard, IDT, HT/LT Switchgear, AC Cabling (HT/LT), Infrastructure such as Township/Large size labor colony and other buildings etc.
3. Issue Resolution and Interface Management:
Identify and resolve interface issues through effective coordination with vendors, engineering divisions, and consultants.
Ensure smooth integration of all electrical systems with project timelines and deliverables.
4. Compliance and Quality Assurance:
Ensure all designs comply with statutory requirements, project standards, and regulatory norms.
Maintain high-quality documentation and ensure adherence to design philosophy and technical requirements.
5. Vendor and Stakeholder Coordination:
Collaborate with vendors to streamline the submission and approval of technical documents and drawings.
Facilitate effective communication between consultants, vendors, and other project teams to maintain alignment on project goals.
Qualifications: Experience: 15 to 18 Years of engineering experience in Electrical System for RE Projects. Proficiency in Protection, Automation and metering is an added advantage. Qualification: Master's or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
