We are seeking an experienced and visionary Engineering Manager to lead our Quality Engineering team. This critical role requires a blend of strong technical acumen, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for driving innovation in testing.

Lead the adoption and implementation of AI/ML-based solutions to enhance testing effectiveness, efficiency, and predictive capabilities.

Provide architectural inputs and hands-on guidance for the design and development of new, scalable testing tools and infrastructure.

Architect and implement robust, innovative, and maintainable testing solutions that address complex system requirements.

Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of automated test suites for functional, performance, security, and reliability testing.

Drive continuous improvement in test automation coverage, reliability, and execution speed within CI/CD pipelines.

Collaborate across functions & Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, articulating technical strategies, project status, and potential risks.

Identify trends, measure quality metrics, and drive data-driven decisions.

Manage competing priorities and multi-task effectively in a dynamic and sometimes loosely structured organizational environment.

Maintain a strong attention to detail in all aspects of work, from strategic planning to technical execution

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science Engineering or IT from a premier school

Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing methodologies.

Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.

Practical experience integrating AI/ML models into quality engineering processes

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and testing strategies for cloud-native applications.

Demonstrated experience in working within a large enterprise, global environment, across multiple timezones and geographies.

Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with a data-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

Superior communication (written and verbal), presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels.

Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.

Strong Understanding of QA principles, Testing Methodologies and have an engineering mindset to solve the complex QA problem

Preferred certifications test automation tools and frameworks

Minimum Qualifications

17+ years of experience in software development or quality engineering, with at least 5+ years in a leadership or management role.

Proven track record of architecting and implementing complex, scalable testing solutions and frameworks from the ground up.

Proficient working with one or more programming languages such as Java, Python or Javascript, with hands-on experience in developing test automation frameworks using these languages.

Experience with Spring Boot for developing backend services and understanding its implications for testing.

Proficient working with frameworks like Selenium, TestNG, WebDriverIO, Robot, Rest-Assured, Cucumber
