Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a high-performing team of 6+ engineers, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and innovative culture.
Deliver enterprise-grade products and platforms, focusing on scalability, maintainability, and performance.
Actively participate in architectural discussions, facilitating healthy debates and recommending robust technical solutions.
Guide and support team members in resolving complex technical challenges and delivering high-quality solutions.
Collaborate closely with Product, Account Management, and Support teams to balance customer needs, technical priorities, and new feature development.
Champion Agile methodologies, optimizing development processes and ensuring efficient CI/CD practices.
Drive strategic planning, prioritization of projects, and resource allocation to align with business objectives.
Provide regular feedback, conduct performance reviews, and support career growth for team members.
Advocate for engineering best practices, including unit testing, functional testing, security standards, and code quality.
Proactively identify risks, remove roadblocks, and keep projects on track for timely delivery.
Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences to align vision, resolve conflicts, and drive outcomes. Required Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of professional experience delivering enterprise-grade software products, including 3 5 years in engineering leadership roles.
Proven experience building or scaling platforms, APIs, or enterprise SaaS products using Python and modern frontend frameworks (React or Angular).
Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Databricks, Data Lake, BigQuery, etc.
Deep understanding of cloud-native architecture, security, cost optimization, and CI/CD on AWS and/or GCP, including services like EC2, S3, Lambda, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run.
Knowledge of containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and deployment pipelines (e.g., CircleCI, Argo CD).
Familiarity with modern observability tools for monitoring, alerting, and logging (e.g., DataDog, Grafana, CloudWatch).
Strong analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to lead and mentor engineers of varying experience levels, fostering growth and technical excellence.
Experience in designing and implementing scalable microservice architectures.
Proficient in writing unit and functional tests, and applying industry security best practices to application and system development.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration across functions.
Highly self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Interest and/or experience in the evolving energy sector is a strong plus.
