Job Summary
We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our Core Platform team, which is responsible for building and maintaining secure, scalable, and reliable key management systems. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical foundation in systems programming, cryptography, and cloud-native platforms, combined with proven people management skills. You will manage a team of engineers, drive the execution of critical platform initiatives, and ensure high-quality delivery that aligns with organizational goals.
Job Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage the Core Platform engineering team.
• Drive design, development, and deployment of key management services and secure cryptographic platforms.
• Collaborate with senior leadership (including Cloud team peers) to align platform initiatives with organizational priorities.
• Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and security, following best practices.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines, testing, and automation for the platform stack.
• Foster a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct technical reviews (architecture, design, and code).
• Work closely with security, SRE, and product teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Balance hands-on technical contributions with team leadership and delivery management.
• Support Agile planning and execution to deliver on-time, high-quality releases.

Job Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 11-17 years of professional software engineering experience, with 3+ years in a leadership/management role.
• Strong background in security software, PKI, and cryptographic key management.
• Solid programming experience in C/C++, Golang, and Python.
• Experience with Postgres or other relational databases.
• Knowledge of automation tools .
• Experience building and scaling platform services for cloud or hybrid environments.
• Familiarity with Agile/SAFe methodologies.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills.
