Lead and manage a team of mechanical and design engineers focused on industrial refrigeration products. Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept, design, prototyping, testing, to production release. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and marketing to ensure product feasibility and alignment with business goals. Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards (e.g., ASHRAE, ISO, PED), and safety regulations. Drive continuous improvement in product performance, cost, and reliability. Manage engineering documentation, including BOMs, CAD models, and technical specifications. Evaluate and implement new technologies and materials to enhance product competitiveness. Mentor and develop engineering talent, fostering a high-performance team culture. Support customer-facing teams with technical expertise and customized solutions when needed.
How you will do it
Lead the mechanical design of industrial refrigeration products, transforming conceptual ideas into practical, manufacturable solutions.
Apply core mechanical engineering principles to develop designs that meet customer specifications and project timelines.
Create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings for refrigeration products, ensuring accuracy and adherence to customer requirements.
Generate pressure vessel (PV) and heat exchanger (HX) drawings and specifications in compliance with order requirements, coordinating with PV engineers for timely submission.
Prepare comprehensive manufacturing documentation, including fabrication drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and other supporting documents.
Ensure timely delivery of engineering documentation to meet internal and external project schedules.
Guarantee product compliance with relevant industry standards and safety regulations.
Collaborate with procurement and manufacturing teams to optimize designs for cost-effectiveness and manufacturability.
Manage project schedules, identify risks, and ensure successful delivery of engineering milestones.
Promote innovation and continuous improvement in product design and development processes.
Provide technical mentorship and support to junior engineers within the team.
Apply relevant regulatory codes such as China GB, ASME, and API in product design.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration throughout the design and order fulfillment process.
