We're hiring for High Rise Residential Project in Mumbai!

Designation: Engineering Manager

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the engineering team in delivering technical solutions for construction projects, from concept through completion. Develop shop drawings and layout drawings in accordance with project specifications and construction schedules. Calculate loads and stresses to ensure the structural integrity and safety of formwork systems. Select appropriate formwork materials and systems (e.g., MIVAN, Jump Form, Cup-lock, Aluminum, Steel, Modular). Prepare preliminary formwork shop drawings and coordinate with formwork designer, structural engineers and contractors for approvals. Monitor formwork installation to ensure compliance with design and safety standards. Provide technical support and troubleshooting during formwork erection and dismantling. Collaborate with site engineers, project managers, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and use of formwork. Review and optimize formwork plans to improve efficiency and reduce cost and material waste. Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations, including company standards, OSHA and local codes. Maintain documentation of formwork designs, modifications, and safety procedures. Review and approve project designs, plans, and specifications for compliance with codes, standards, and client requirements. Manage engineering schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. Coordinate with architects, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers to integrate all disciplines. Ensure timely resolution of technical issues during construction. Participate in bid preparation, contractor evaluation, and procurement of materials and services. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations. Support project management in developing construction strategies, sequencing, and risk mitigation. Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure engineering requirements are met. Mentor and develop junior engineers and team members.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field. 10+ years of engineering experience in the construction industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of construction methods, engineering principles, building codes, Formwork systems, and standards. Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and other engineering and project management software. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Preferred Attributes:

Experience in large-scale commercial/residential construction projects. LEED accreditation or familiarity with sustainable building practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
