This Position reports to:
Senior Engineering Manager
In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage a team of designers/engineers to deliver high quality, cost effective, and timely engineering solutions to customers. Each day, you will formulate plans and allocate resources to meet the agreed contractual and financial targets. You will also showcase your expertise by initiating, coordinating, driving, and overseeing team development and continual improvement of processes and procedures to strengthen the engineering and design capability.

This role is contributing to the to the Process Automation business in Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India You will be mainly accountable for:
Engineering Development & Technical Contribution: Apply standard techniques for engineering assignments, handling testing, installation, commissioning, and documentation within project scope.
Sales Support & Proposal Preparation: Assist in developing proposals/presentations for engineering projects, including bill of materials, estimated engineering hours, and overall technical feasibility.
Contract Management & Change Control: Support contract managers in handling changes related to scope, cost, timelines, and risk assessment, ensuring seamless project execution.
Planning, Control & Risk Management: Develop work plans and cost estimates, ensure quality deliverables within budget and schedule, and conduct risk assessments to optimize project effectiveness.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement: Provide technical assistance to customers, interact with stakeholders, contractors, and teams, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Supply Chain & Vendor Management: Collaborate with the supply chain function to define technical requirements, evaluate supplier proposals, and approve equipment/services for project needs.
Technical Leadership & Process Improvement: Share engineering best practices across projects, ensure compliance with safety and contractual regulations, and contribute to continuous process improvement.
