As an Engineering Manager (Backend), you will play a key role in building, mentoring, and scaling a high-performing backend engineering team that delivers reliable and scalable systems. This role requires a balance of technical depth, leadership, and people management--empowering engineers to grow while ensuring the backend architecture meets evolving business needs. You will collaborate closely with product and design teams to drive alignment between technical execution and strategic business goals.

• Technical Excellence: Drive best practices in software development, scalability, and system design. Be hands-on when needed--reviewing code, refining architecture, and guiding implementation.

• Operational Ownership: Oversee the development and maintenance of high-quality, scalable, and secure backend systems.

What Makes You a Great Fit:

• Experience: 9+ years in software engineering, including at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership capacity. Proven success delivering scalable backend systems.
• Technical Mastery: Strong background in backend technologies, frameworks, and distributed system design. Hands-on experience in developing high-performance applications.
• Leadership & Mentorship: Demonstrated ability to inspire, mentor, and grow engineering talent while fostering a positive, collaborative culture.
• Strategic Thinking: Skilled at aligning engineering priorities with business objectives and driving measurable outcomes.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
