Roles & Responsibilities



Team Leadership & Management



Lead & Mentor:

Inspire, coach, and mentor a team of talented frontend engineers, promoting a culture of ownership and psychological safety.

Career Development:

Conduct regular 1:1s, provide constructive feedback, and support individual career growth plans.

Hiring & Retention:

Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and retention of top-tier engineering talent.

Resource Management:

Manage team capacity, performance, and resource allocation to meet project goals and deliver against the product roadmap.

Technical Direction & Architecture



Frontend Strategy:

Define and champion the technical vision for the frontend ecosystem, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives.

Micro-frontend Expertise:

Provide hands-on technical guidance on designing, implementing, and managing a robust micro-frontend architecture. This includes establishing best practices for communication, state management, and shared component libraries.

Frameworks & Best Practices:

Drive best practices in modern web development, including component-based architecture, state management (e.g., Redux, NgRx), and performance optimization (e.g., Core Web Vitals, tree-shaking).

Technical Excellence:

Lead code reviews, champion continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, and ensure a high standard of code quality and testing.

Emerging Technologies:

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in the frontend landscape (e.g., WebAssembly, new frameworks) and drive strategic adoption where appropriate.

Project & Delivery Management



Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Backend Engineering teams to define requirements, scope projects, and deliver on the product roadmap.

Agile Methodologies:

Champion Agile/Scrum methodologies, ensuring efficient development processes, and a predictable delivery cadence.

Risk Management:

Identify and mitigate technical risks and dependencies, proactively communicating status to stakeholders.

Qualifications/Requirements:



Experience:

10+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on frontend technologies.

Leadership:

5+ years of experience in a leadership role (e.g., Engineering Manager, Team Lead) managing software engineers.

Technical Acumen:

Deep expertise and hands-on experience with modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.

Frameworks:

Strong proficiency in at least two major frontend frameworks, particularly React and Angular.

Micro-frontend Architecture:

Proven experience designing and implementing highly scalable and distributed Micro-frontend architectures.

APIs:

Solid understanding of API design principles (REST, GraphQL) and hands-on experience integrating with backend services. *

DevOps & Tools:

Familiarity with version control systems (Git), CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and containerization (Docker).
