About the Role
We are looking for an Engineering Lead (Senior Software Engineer) who can take ownership of end-to-end product development, drive scalable architecture decisions, and lead development across modern full-stack technologies. The ideal candidate is hands-on with MERN, Python, Fast API, scalable backend systems, and production deployments, with strong debugging and problem-solving capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Full-Stack Development (MERN + Python)

• Build and enhance end-to-end web applications using React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
• Develop backend services using Python and Fast API with clean, modular, and scalable code.
• Implement reusable components, REST APIs, and microservices architecture2. Backend Architecture & Systems Design
• Own design of high-availability and high-performance backend systems.
• Architect APIs, data flow, caching, and integration layers for complex distributed applications.
• Drive best practices in code quality, security, and performance optimization.

3. Production Deployment & DevOps

• Lead CI/CD pipelines, automation, and release cycles.
• Manage production changes, hotfixes, rollbacks, and zero-downtime deployments.
• Monitor system performance, reliability, and platform uptime.

4. Debugging & Issue Resolution

• Perform deep-dive debugging across backend, frontend, and databases.
• Resolve production issues by analyzing logs, metrics, and distributed traces.
• Implement proactive monitoring, error tracking, and performance profiling.

5. Team Collaboration & Leadership

• Mentor junior developers and enforce engineering standards.
• Participate in sprint planning, architecture reviews, and code reviews.
• Work closely with Product, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure timely delivery.

Primary Skills

• MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js)

Databases

• MongoDB (must)
• PostgreSQL / MySQL (good to have)

DevOps & Deployment

• Git, Docker, CI/CD
• Cloud familiarity (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Production deployment experience
