This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with over 10 years of experience in software engineering, particularly in building scalable platforms and products. The ideal candidate will exhibit advanced proficiency in Backend development using Node.js, NestJS, or Python, with robust skills in data modeling, schema design, and data management for SQL or NoSQL databases. A solid understanding of popular frontend frameworks and a comprehensive knowledge of the Generative AI landscape and its latest innovations is necessary. Must possess strong leadership skills, and have a proven track record of managing agile development teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Platform Development: Lead the design, architecture, and development of a scalable Gen AI-based platform, ensuring high standards of performance, reliability, and maintainability.
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a cross-functional agile team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Drive the team to achieve product and platform development goals.
Solution Architecture: Architect and design scalable solutions, catering to both real-time and batch processing requirements. Ensure best practices in software design are followed.
Cloud Integration: Oversee cloud-native deployments, leveraging modern infrastructure and services to ensure efficient and flexible operations.
Technical Expertise: Utilize hands-on experience in NodeJS or Python to guide development efforts. Ensure code quality and adherence to software development standards.
Data Modelling: Design and implement data models for NoSQL and SQL databases, optimizing for performance and scalability based on project needs.
Innovation and Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and trends in GenAI technologies and incorporate relevant innovations into the platform development process.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of overall software engineering experience.
Proven experience building scalable platforms and products in an agile environment.
Knowledge in GenAI technologies and current landscape.
Strong architectural and design skills for real-time and batch solutions.
Experience with cloud-native technologies and deployments.
Expert in NodeJS or Python.
Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
Strong data modeling skills in both NoSQL and SQL databases.
Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
Preferred Skills:
Previous experience in a senior engineering role in a similar domain.
