We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of a Associate Director, Software Engineering Specialist
In this role, you will:
As an Engineering Lead, design, implement, maintain and support a strategic Collateral & Limits Management program within Credit & Capital Management IT Dept within CIB.
Assist IT & Business Delivery Lead with the overall business technology planning.
As a technology lead provide guidance to the team to design, develop, test and implement responsive web applications / APIs
Ensure the quality of deliveries and ensure conformance to processes and practices.
Delivering well structured, maintainable and fully tested systems to time and budget
Working through the development and support phases of project delivery.
Taking ownership of the technical design and associated design documentation and participate in design reviews.
Mature DevSecOps adoption across the projects closely collaborating with global/regional team, adopting agile and innovative ideas.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
Strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring boot, Microservices architecture with the ability to design, develop and optimize scalable enterprise applications.
Experience working in SAFE Agile delivery environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to delivery high quality solutions on time.
Good communication skills both written and verbal.
Comfortable operating in an "agile" development team, self starting, motivated.
Takes ownership, pride in delivered work
Good deadline management and communication for delays, slippages.
Ability to mentor, coach and guide junior team members without compromising on personal deliverables.
The successful candidate will also meet the following requirements: (Good to have Requirements)
Exposure to Banking
Exposure to Oracle Financial products
