Roles and Responsibilities:



Depending on the department, selected candidates will contribute to one or more of the following functions

Design and Engineering:



Prepare and review 2D and 3D designs, GA drawings, and BOMs for pumps and rotating machinery

Coordinate with production, QC, and procurement teams for design validation

Support in customization, modification, and reverse engineering projects

Procurement and Supply Chain:



Prepare RFQs, evaluate vendor quotations, and process purchase orders

Coordinate with vendors for timely material delivery, quality inspection, and documentation

Work on SAP based procurement systems for inventory and purchase tracking

Tendering and Estimation:



Prepare technical and commercial tenders, cost sheets, and compliance statements

Review customer specifications and BOQs for pump and mechanical projects

Collaborate with design and costing teams for accurate bid preparation

Quality Control (QC):



Conduct inspection of fabricated components, assemblies, and final products

Maintain calibration records and ensure compliance with QA QC standards

Support in customer inspections and third party inspection coordination

Technology:



Work on system integration and digitalization initiatives within engineering and manufacturing processes

Support implementation of Industry 4.0 solutions, IoT monitoring, and performance tracking for equipment

Assist in evaluating and adopting new tools, software, and automation methods to enhance productivity

Collaborate with internal teams for process optimization and technology driven improvements

Technical Documentation and Coordination:



Prepare data sheets, technical manuals, and as built documentation for clients

Maintain accurate filing of drawings, test reports, and project records

Support in documentation for PESO, ISO, or client audits as required

Project Coordination and Support:



Assist in coordinating between design, procurement, production, and dispatch teams

Track project milestones and ensure timely execution of deliverables

Prepare daily and weekly project status reports and maintain communication with clients

Qualifications:



Education: BE, BTech or M.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Industrial, Chemical, Petrochemical, or Production Engineering

Experience: Minimum 2+ years in the Pump or Industrial Machinery Manufacturing Industry

Hands on knowledge of Centrifugal Pumps, Reciprocating Pumps, Impellers, and Rotating Equipment

Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and SAP

Strong communication, multitasking, and analytical skills
