Job Description

We are seeking a visionary and experienced Engineering Executive to join our dynamic team in Kochi, India. As the Engineering Executive, you will play a crucial role in leading our engineering department, overseeing maintenance programs, and driving innovation in our operations.

Develop and implement strategic plans for the engineering department, aligning with organizational goals and objectives Oversee the planning and execution of maintenance programs for various systems, including air-conditioning, electrical, refrigeration, and building maintenance Lead and mentor a team of engineering professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement Collaborate with other department heads to ensure efficient operations and optimal resource utilization Analyze and optimize engineering processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs Manage budgets and resource allocation for engineering projects and maintenance activities Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve engineering operations and sustainability Prepare and present reports on department performance, project status, and key metrics to senior management Coordinate with external contractors and vendors to ensure quality service delivery and adherence to contracts Drive energy efficiency initiatives and sustainable practices within the organization

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience in a engineering role Proven track record of successfully leading engineering teams and projects Extensive knowledge of various engineering systems, maintenance programs, and industry best practices Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills Demonstrated ability to think strategically and drive innovation in engineering operations Proficiency in project management and budget control Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Experience in implementing and optimizing preventive maintenance programs Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Excellent time management and organizational skills Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools Strong customer service orientation and ability to collaborate across departments * Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends and technologies
