Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team.
Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities (e.g., HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, guest rooms, kitchens, etc.) to identify and address issues promptly.
Manage repair and maintenance work requests from various departments and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies; request purchases as needed.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Assist with energy-saving initiatives and sustainability programs.
Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and services.
Maintain maintenance logs and records of equipment performance.
Respond to emergency maintenance issues (e.g., power outages, water leaks, fire safety systems).
Train maintenance staff in technical and safety procedures.
Qualification:
Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 3-4 years of experience in maintenance roles in the
hospitality industry
.
Good knowledge of building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire safety.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with safety standards and procedures.
Good communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work under pressure and in shifts (including weekends and holidays if required).
Computer literacy (MS Office, maintenance management systems).
